.
1. Can you tell us a bit about how and why you chose this specific house plan?
I was looking for a majestic design that would reflect my inner cry for the best and my dream to see my home village as developed as Washington DC. I wanted something that would stand as a reference in the village as “the city on the hill “. A house that will illuminate my native place with its beauty and majesty, to remind everyone that God can bless, God can work wonders in such way that one of the sons of this place would be able to build something that as magnificent and impossible that people only see on the TV, as the White House in the USA. The key driving criteria is that poverty is not a fatality. I wanted to be proof that anyone can partner with God to receive wealth and build a house of their dreams.
2. Which features about this house plan are the most valuable to you?The main and the back facade.
3. How did you get to know about Maramani and why did you decide to purchase from Maramani?I was advised by a friend of mine, during my mission in Somalia. This friend testified about the integrity of Maramani. And since then, I have bought more than five designs so far.
4. How long has it taken since you started the journey to get to this point?I started the construction exactly on 4 May 2021.
5. What has been the most exciting part of the process? The first floor, because it was already the most outstanding building in my hometown.
6. What has been the most challenging part of the process? For me, the most challenging part of the process was identifying the ideal constructor.
7. What do you know now that you wish you knew in the beginning of this whole process?I wish I knew that stocking construction materials before the rainy season saves you a lot of hustle.
8. What advice would you pass on to someone who is about to choose a plan and start the construction process? Please ensure that construction materials are available in the area. If not, secure their stocking prior to the rainy season to avoid increase in transportation costs.
Even though the construction work and finishing touches are still underway, Guelnoudji is delighted with the significant progress he has made so far. His dream of having a distinguished home that resembles that of the Whitehouse to inspire his fellow natives and make history in his village will soon be realized.
